Rosalia

Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is an Spanish pop singer and flamenco performer. As a teen, Rosalia has explored the fringes of both pop and traditional music. Pepe Habichuela Flamenco guitarist of great talent, described her voice by saying it is sweet, with a traditional bite. El Mal Querer is her 2nd album, which was that was released in the year 2018, and was critically and commercially successful. Following Los Angeles, her debut album from 2017, she got an award from the Latin Grammy for Best New Artist and earned a Latin Grammy nod. The hit single La Fama featuring the Weeknd came out in 2021. Motomami came out as her third album that was full-length. It featured songs written in collaboration with other performers and producers like Cory Henry. The album came out in 2022 as a result of a Saturday Night Live appearance by the singer Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia was the first Spanish artist to perform solo in the program. As well as winning three additional Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia was also the first female to be awarded the Latin Album of the Year twice.
